Under the EU-funded Advancing Somalia’s Migration Governance with a Focus on Return and Reintegration Project (hereinafter “the project”), IDLO is supporting the Federal Government of Somalia to strengthen national migration governance by enhancing whole-of-government coordination structures, improving legal and policy frameworks, and laying the foundation for sustainable, rights-based return and reintegration processes. As part of this support, IDLO will provide accurate, reliable, and legally sound translations of key laws and law-related documents between Somali and English to assist the Government in delivering the project’s legislative reform work.

The IDLO Ukraine Country Office (CO), situated within the Department of Programmes, maintains the central management and coordinating function for the delivery of the IDLO programmes in Ukraine.
Under the supervision of the Programme Lead, the Interpreter / Translator within the translator/interpreter team, translates IDLO’s curricula, training materials, legal memoranda, reports, and contracts. The incumbent is also responsible for the accurate and high-quality translation of laws and legal texts and provides interpretation services during events, workshops, and high-level meetings between IDLO’s senior management and counterparts in Ukraine.
